Labour Election Expenses - 2005

In the 2005 General Election, all the main political parties spent large sums of money on their respective campaigns. This was money raised by donors and party members. Given the parlous state of the parties funds after the election, there has been a lot of debate on the subject of state funding for political parties.

If state funding were to be introduced, the parties would be spending your money. But what would they be spending it on?

Campaign Return

This is the v1.0 release of the 2005 campaign return for the Labour Party. All of this information is officially in the public domain, but we would argue that it is not accessible enough if you can only access it by making an appointment with the Electoral Commission, trekking into the London, and searching through a pile of A4 paper.
